@LPKING47 Well said. The posers who claim to have topped JD should have to beat his record in FULL VOICE in order to officially be? recognized. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case.

  2. ChangsUncle says:

@LPKING47 Excellent point. And all this inaudible buisiness…inaudible isn’t a different type of sound, it’s the absence of sound. Placing speach and singing on dead even terms with something that’s not there? in the first place amounts to circular reasoning. Soft breathing is inaudible and the vocal chords still move, even a soprano can do that.

  3. EnchiladaMan360 says:

@moproducer I? guess you got one of those annoying Mormon ads at the top of the video list on the right of the screen, too?

  4. LPKING47 says:

bylvr– You said it all, sir. JD SUMNER WAS? THE BASS!! PERIOD!!There have been alot of basses= Big Chief, Tim Riley, George Younce, Richard Sterban,,etc BUT NONE COMPARES TO JD!! George and Big Chief had the more mellow bass while JD hit the low and was full doing it. No whispers down to D’s and E’s. This talk of Tim Storms and Roger Menees out-doing JD? WHAT IS GUINESS SMOKING TO EVEN CONSIDER A RATTLE OF THE LARNYX AT 8HZ TO BE A WORLD RECORD? That is not true bass in my opinion.

    …and? he’s a Mormon.

  7. mrpankau says:

I wonder what JD sounded like in? the morning when he had a cold.

  8. FalseDave says:

    Shoulda sang death? metal.

  9. aaaaa0000000000 says:

JD Sumner and? the Stamps came to the Fredericksburg, Pa Firemans Carnival touring with the Cadillac the Elvis gave to him………

  10. The336336336 says:

    @handelthomas? More than you think.

  11. smgamer1 says:

@The336336336? Actually, the first didn’t surpass him, he just matched him. Tim Storms was the first to actually sing lower than JD.

  12. wmden1 says:

@80dKeys Thanks. I haven’t? found young Tyler’s videos yet. I may have found a couple of yours, though. If the Ab scale video is yours, great job, the real thing. I would like to hear you sing some group harmony or a solo. Also, have you seen any Fairfield 4 videos? Roll Jordan is one. Mr. Freeman is incredible and his voice is completely natural.

  13. wmden1 says:

A comment on fry singing; Vocal chords together, as in holding your breath. Put a little air pressure on them and simultaineously relax them a little. Chords pop opened and closed. Number of pops is the pitch. Works kind of like a whoopie cusion and sounds a bit like an egg frying, lacks resonance, and is not natural voice. J. D.’s Double Low C in natural voice is an AWSOME accomplishment. Almost anybody can fry sing one, with practice. Ask any? competent bass singer.

  14. 80dKeys says:

@ChangsUncle Thank you for that—when I set the record for Guinness Book Primetime Live in the late 90s—it was about actual compass scales and ACTUAL notes to legitimize the? claims. Cheers, and thanks for speakin’ up!

  15. 80dKeys says:

@wmden1 Even though I consider Tim a peer and respect all bass folks– I must say, you are very right and articulate in your acessment.. There’s a young man on here named Tyler ,who reminds me of JD and myself at an early? age..non fry…Have you found his videos yet?

  16. quigglett says:

he was not idolized by elvis during his early years for? nothing!!!

  17. MrAlmqvist says:

    This is insane..?

  18. ChangsUncle says:

    @wmden1 You’re exactly? right.

  19. wmden1 says:

    J. D.’s natural speaking voice was pitched below Low C. It wasn’t much trouble for him to get down to the Double Low C. in natural voice. Storms has a good voice and a good ear, but he is fry singing even moderately low notes, no question about it.?

  20. grace230608 says:

Don’t? forget JD sang with Elvis every night for years.

  21. lordjorach says:

LoL,? he’s justin bieber with a mustache, hahahaahah

  22. musicianforjesus says:

    @Solomon1946 THE lowest actually?

  23. AlexDaLegendaryOne says:

    this man’s a? GOON!

  24. ChangsUncle says:

@jalsante75 I agree with you. I can’t fault anyone for liking Storms but a small handful of his die hard fans are? presenting a distorted view of reality. Read more into the account than Guinness intended, stand on the premise that music has a slippery definition at best and we end up with something larger than life. Music isn’t speculation and it’s sure not inaudible. Singing is all about control, without that it’s plain old rolfing.

  25. jalsante75 says:

@chrishatfieldtv Everyone knows that Tim can make noise at 8 htz. Could he be compared to any Southern gospel singer, Bass or any other position, NOPE! Why? For one thing, you say “listen to the rescues cd”. How many months went into studio? production? Was it a fasttrac production, or did he show up when his voice was ready to hit 8 htz? Southern Gospel is how I have fed my family, and I would’nt hire Tim. Not because I dislike the guy, but because he can’t do it every night.

  26. jiyoungeeeee says:

Are you still a Stampin’ Up? demonstrator?

  27. mangelicalangs2011 says:

  28. madbunnyz says:

  29. madbunnyz says:

Hi where can I get the clear dvd holder? looking things for storing stamps? Thank you.

  30. MelodyLane815 says:

ty for this video I? have been wondering how to do that.

  31. Alicia9105 says:

Hi! what I normally do with small wooden blocks like that is 1) make ornaments out of them 2) if I happen to have a bunch of blocks about the same size I can make name blocks, signs or home dec signs like “Home Sweet Home”. TFS THIS? VIDEO!

  32. cheeseheadwife says:

I”m having a hard time finding the “Alene’s tack it over and over.”? Is there anything else that can be used to make the stamp stick to the acrylic? Would stencil adhesive spray work?

  33. jumpzigga says:

This is the best way to do this. I’ve seen more complex ways, but this seems so easy.?

  34. jogryant says:

Thanks for this? excellent tutorial. I do know now what to do.

  35. 0714eaw says:

Thank you so much for posting this lesson!!!!!!! I am drowning in wood sets. How long does the sticky stuff last and can it be? reapplied?Great lesson I will look forward to more!!!

  36. earthmom39 says:

This helped me alot! I can now get a lg tote & apple box of stamps in one shelf unit and find? things better.

  37. karaokelola says:

I’ve started unmounting my sets and have those DVD cases on order.? Great idea!

  38. marischmaltz says:

did this same thing the week after those? plastic cases came out … gave my microwave a workout unmounting the rubber.

  39. cheeseheadwife says:

This is a great rainy day project! Any suggestions for what to do with the wood blocks once they are unmounted? Can they go in re-cycling? Also, when i order from my SU demonstrator can I ask for the stamps? to come without the wood blocks?

  43. dot3518 says:

I have looked at every way I could find to turn wood stamps into clear stamps and thought that there had to be an easier way than I was finding. This is it and a perfect way for me. Not throwing? out the foam that is on them just redirecting their use. Thank you so much.!!!!!!!!

  44. joy4llyu2b says:

I really like the? video. I am just collecting block stamp sets. My distributor always asks me if I want them mounted or not. I have been getting mounted and also getting used ones off Ebay. This looks like a great system to have when you want to downsize or have limited space or just organize your stamp library. Thanks so much.
